Christmas Is Coming...

A Christmas dangle....

A Christmas dangle....

I was pleased with how 'Transition' went. My Donald Trump piece now has a new owner, some of my work is residing in the USA, and another piece has found a home in Canada (so can I now say I'm an international artist?) Although 'Transition' has ended, several of my pieces remain on show in the front room at Conquest House, so do check them out when you call in to see the new exhibition in the gallery.

There is going to be a Designers and Makers Market in the Turner Contemporary in Margate on the 2nd and 3rd of December, and I'm very excited to be taking part (see the exhibitions page for details). I will mainly be showing jewellery, as one half of AG47 (the other half being the very talented Dave Kilford). But I also plan to show a few small pieces of glass, which will help to decorate the table and give it a bit of a Christmas-y feel.  Do come along if you can, there are going to be some extremely talented people exhibiting a wonderful variety of wares, and I predict it will be an excellent place to find unusual and original Christmas presents.

The Margate event is the result of a collaboration between Turner Contemporary and Kent Creative Arts, the latter being the brainchild of the amazing Nathalie Banaigs. She has built a wonderful platform to link creatives from all disciplines - visual artists, writers, poets, musicians, theatre etc. I heartily recommend anyone with an interest in the arts to check out their website for details of all sorts of artistic happenings and meetings.
