'Forest Vessel'
'Forest Vessel'

'Forest Vessel'

Fused and ‘dropped’ glass

Approx 30 × 30 × 14h cm

The image shows the detail of the top of the vessel

Created in shimmering, translucent glass, the undulating leaf-like top and the glorious mix of greens, yellows and subtle earth colours evoke cool, light dappled forests.

Roamer

Roamer

22 × 10 × 20 cm

Paper/plaster/clay mix on wire armature

A hulking form reminiscent of an ancient creature, appears to be making its way through space. Its mass suggests strength yet the delicate placing of the limbs indicate a vulnerability at odds with the its bulk.

'Autumn Vessel'

'Autumn Vessel'

Fused and ‘dropped’ glass

Approx. 20 × 20 × 15h cm

With the undulating top suggesting piles of drifting leaves, the rich earth tones of the translucent glass evoke the beauty of Autmn.

'Secret'

'Secret'

23 x 22 × 18 cm

Paper, wire, distressed gold leaf

Reminiscent of an ancient and otherworldly, weathered creature, the raw, gnarled surface gives way to the unexpected interior of burnished, distressed gold, glowing softly from within. Inviting contemplation of concealment and revelation, ‘Secret’ might suggest that what lies beneath the surface is often the most precious.

'Painted Pod Pair' SOLD

Variable dimensions.

Plaster/paper/clay mix

The 2 pod like forms sit in quiet conversation - organic, almost creaturely, yet resolutely abstract. Textured exteriors bristle with energy, dark painted interiors invite closer inspection, hinting at an inner world of contemplative spaces hidden beneath protective shells. Displayed together, they evoke duality: openness and containment, vulnerability and resilience, the echo of life in suspended growth or quiet emergence.

Approximately 30 x 22 x 28cm, created from a clay/papier maché/plaster mix on a wood and wire armature

Kiln fused glass slumped over unique hand made mould, presented as a museum specimen in a clear acrylic case i

Approx. 80cm long x 45cm wide x 18cm high

'Under The Skin@

'Under The Skin@

Mixed media

approx. 39cm long x 22cm deep x 17cm high

The texture and colour of the sculpture evokes the desiccated bones of an ancient creature, but a translucent ‘skin’ clings on in places, covering some of the apertures in this hollowed, holey, organic form, inviting contemplation of concealment and revelation.
